Modric, Carvajal to start: Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Real Valladolid
Real Madrid take on Real Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu in hopes of putting the previous game behind them and returning to winning ways.
The men in white will be without the services of Jude Bellingham who is ruled out for a month. Luka Modric and Arda Güler are expected to be rotated in that particular position.
Other than Jude, Eduardo Camavinga, David Alaba and Ferland Mendy (red card) are the notable absentees for this fixture.
Here is how Real Madrid can lineup against Real Valladolid:
The Belgian had a decent game against Mallorca, making some important saves that allowed Real Madrid to get at least one point. Even the goal he conceded was not easy to save as the header was well timed and came with a good pace too. He would look to replicate that performance against Valladolid, but with a cleansheet this time.
Made some great overlapping runs but was left isolated at times on the right along with Fede Valverde. The Spaniard has shown his class time and time again and the home fans would be eager to watch him perform well once again.
Except for one mistake, the German had a solid outing in the previous match. He also took a shot at goal which was not far off. Madrid fans can now safely expect consistently good performances from him.
The 26-year-old has the potential to be one of the best in world and showed that potential two seasons ago. However, he has blown hot and cold since his return from injury, but he would like to cement a good partnership with Rüdiger at the back before Alaba returns.
The youngster gets an unexpected start after Ferland Mendy received a straight red for a rather reckless challenge in the dying moments of the previous match. Fran has shown shades of his brilliance at times and would be eager to not miss out on such an opportunity and make the most of it.
The most important piece of the puzzle for Carlo Ancelotti, the Uruguayan is a pivotal part of the side and is expected to also be the leader of the midfield. His goal involvement may have lessened lately, but he offers much more to the team.
Perhaps the most important position in modern football, Tchouaméni has been an undisputed starter in the central defensive midfield position and will remain unchallenged until Camavinga’s return.
In most probably his last season in professional football, the Croatian will look to make the most of the given opportunities and continue to weave the magic which has mesmerised football fans for years.
The Brazilian scored a beautiful goal against Mallorca after curling one in the right corner from a difficult angle. With defenders usually marking Mbappe and Vini, this at times leaves Rodrygo unmarked leading him to be in on goal. Technically strong, the 23-year old will look to continue his goal scoring form.
There were shades of what this particular Frenchman is capable of. His speed, quick runs and cheeky touches at times were on display. He already has scored his first goal for the club, but what better to score your first La Liga goal in front of the Bernabeu faithful.
