The AC Milan staff have drawn up the schedule for the international break, and it will involve a period of rest for those not on international duty.

According to MilanNews, Fonseca granted a period of rest to his players following the 3-3 draw against Cagliari on Saturday. Those who have not been called up by their national teams will return to training at Milanello tomorrow.

The Rossoneri squad will also work on Wednesday, and then they will have another few days off, resuming training on Monday 18 November. Preparations will begin at the start of next week for the game against Juventus after the international break.

The plan for the injured players is slightly different, including for example Matteo Gabbia, who will be at the training ground on Thursday and Friday too to continue his recovery. At present, the feeling is that the Italian centre-back will be available for the game against the Bianconeri.

Fonseca must use the break to fix the defence, because in 11 league games so far this season his team have conceded at least two goals against Torino, Parma, Lazio, Fiorentina, Napoli and Cagliari. It is no coincidence that in these six matches they won zero, but won the other five.
