Minnesota's Jaylen Waters ejected after hit on Penn State kicker Joey Julius (Video)

Minnesota wanted to make sure it didn’t show up on another Joey Julius highlight.

Julius, Penn State’s 258-pound kicker, had made Twitter timelines explode with big hits on kickoffs against Michigan and Kent State this season. This week, he was on the receiving end.

After Penn State took a 20-13 lead late in the third quarter, Julius booted one into the end zone for a touchback. As Julius coasted down the field, he was leveled by Minnesota’s Jaylen Waters.

Waters was ejected for the cheap shot.

It wasn’t the first time those two got tangled up on Saturday. On an earlier kickoff, Waters went after Julius and the two wrestled to the ground.
