🎥 Millwall cruise past Dagenham & Redbridge in FA Cup
It was one-way traffic at The Den on Monday as Millwall beat Dagenham & Redbridge F.C. 3-0 to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Scorers: Ivanović 30', De Norre 70', Bangura-Williams 85'
A Championship side against a club from the National League, it was expected that the hosts would dominate the pitch over 90 minutes.
However, the visitors impressively frustrated Millwall for most of the first half despite around 30% possession of the ball. This forced the hosts to score a gritty goal to break the deadlock.
Mihailo Ivanović was the man to rise to the occasion, as the striker scored in an unusual way to beat goalkeeper Elliot Justham.
After a scramble in the box, the centre forward found himself on his hands and knees before pulling himself up quickly enough to nudge the ball over the line with his head.
He's headed it on the floor! 🤣

The second half was another showing of Millwall dominating the game, but again, Dag & Red were there to stifle most of the 15 shots.
Fatigue arguably played a role late in the match as the hosts finally broke through late to ensure they reached the next round.
Casper De Notte scored the second goal, starting a slick movement for Millwall. He later ran into the box and volleyed home for 2-0.

A third then piled misery on the visitors and acted as an extra celebration for debutant Ra'ess Bangura-Williams.
Mere minutes after coming off the bench to make his professional debut, he went 1-v-1 with defender Tom Eastman and drilled the ball into the far right corner for 3-0.
