New Milik setback adds to Juventus’s attacking woes
Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik has reportedly suffered a new set-back in his lengthy injury recovery process, adding to a growing list of problems in attack for Juventus and the under-pressure Thiago Motta.

According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, Milik has suffered a muscular injury in his calf, which has reportedly come about after an overload of work in his recovery. The club have not yet provided official confirmation of the reported injury.
The Poland international has not featured for Juventus at all this season. His last appearance in Bianconeri colours came on the final day of the 2023-24 season, when he played 73 minutes of Juve’s 2-0 win over Monza.
Aside from Dusan Vlahovic, Milik is the only other recognised, senior centre-forward in Thiago Motta’s squad.
The club have reportedly been looking at bringing new attacking optiont in during the January transfer window, but as things stand, Juve have little room to play with in the budget following a summer of heavy spending.
A loan deal for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee remains one of the favoured options, according to recent reports in Italy.
