Mile Svilar is patiently waiting to have his contract with the Giallorossi officially renewed.

Following Svilar’s heroics in the second half of last season, the capital club gave the 25-year-old the keys to Roma’s goal, making him the starting keeper in the aftermath of Rui Patricio’s departure in free agency.

According to calciomercato.com, the goalkeeper is waiting for a call from Roma sporting director Ghisolfi for the extension of his contract, which currently expires on 30 June 2027.

The goalkeeper’s salary is 800,000 euros net, and, according to the news portal, it will be increased up to 1.5 million, with an extra year on the contract, to ward off interest from the Premier League.

Svilar had famously caught the attention of West Ham and Wolverhampton, who had sent scouts for the match against Brighton, in the second leg of the Europa League round of 16.
