Milan target Gimenez not the player walking out on crutches
Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez was replaced in the first half of a Champions League match against Lille last night, but the player leaving the stadium on crutches was goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, not the Milan target.
Milan transfer target Gimenez sustained a suspected muscle injury during a 6-1 loss against Lille last night. The Mexico international scored the only goal for the Dutch side at minute 14 but was forced off the pitch just a few minutes later.

A video that went viral on social media showed a Feyenoord player leaving the Lille stadium on crutches last night. Several sources reported that the player was Gimenez, but Gazzetta claims that he was goalkeeper Bijlow, not the Mexican striker.
The pink paper reports that Gimenez will undergo medical examinations today. It is still unclear whether he will be available for the next league game against Ajax.
Milan remain interested in the 23-year-old forward, who has already shaken hands with the Rossoneri.
However, the Serie A giants are yet to reach an agreement with Feyenoord who have already rejected an opening bid from the Rossoneri.
Milan and Feyenoord could also meet in the Champions League knockout playoff.
