What Milan plan to do after Bologna postponement

As a result of the Bologna game being called off, there are also changes to Milan’s plans on Sunday as well. The squad will have a full training session instead of the recovery session that would have been carried out had the game gone ahead as usual.

Fonseca and his players will then put in the final preparations for their game against Napoli in San Siro on Monday.

Though Milan and their directors were left infuriated by the decision to call the Bologna game off, La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that having an extra day to prepare for the upcoming test against Serie A leaders Napoli is a silver lining to the cloud that hung over the Dall’Ara.

It does also mean an extra day of recovery for some of Fonseca’s injury doubtfuls, including Davide Calabria and Tammy Abraham.

On the other hand, the Rossoneri will now have to do without both Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders for the Napoli game, as they had been due to complete their suspensions against Bologna.
