Milan opening bid for Gimenez rejected
Several sources in Italy claim Milan offered circa €30m to sign Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez, but the Dutch side rejected the Rossoneri’s opening bid.
Milan are looking for a new centre forward in the January transfer window, and Gimenez has already reached an agreement with the Serie A giants.

However, the Rossoneri are struggling to convince Feyenoord to sell their star striker this month.
Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport report that Milan already made an opening offer slightly below €30m for the Mexico international. According to Gazzetta, Gimenez wants to join the Rossoneri at all costs this month, but Feyenoord rejected the Rossoneri’s offer.
Feyenoord’s asking price is around €40m, but the Dutch side seem unwilling to sell the 25-year-old in January and would only discuss a transfer in the summer.
Sky Sport reported on Friday that Gimenez was pushing for a move to San Siro so the Rossoneri hope the Mexican striker with an Italian passport will help them persuade Feyenoord to finalise the deal this month.
