Milan and Okafor edge closer to RB Leipzig agreement
Milan talks are progressing to send Noah Okafor to RB Leipzig on loan with option to buy, which would free up a spot for Marcus Rashford.
The Rossoneri need to sell one of their wide attackers in order to bring in Rashford from Manchester United and Okafor seems to have more contenders than Samuel Chukwueze.
It had already been reported today that they rejected the opening proposal for Okafor from RB Leipzig, but the negotiations have resumed and are showing significant progress.
Okafor can make way for Rashford
According to multiple reports including Sky Sport Italia, Fabrizio Romano and Calciomercato.com, the player is now open to the move and has agreed personal terms.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig have increased the original bid from €9m to a total of €14m.
It is still not quite there, as Milan are asking for €15-16m to make the sale, but they are certainly getting a lot closer to an agreement.
They cannot accept less than that, having paid €15.5m to sign Okafor from RB Salzburg back in the summer of 2023.
