Milan lose Okafor until 2025 with calf injury
Milan received more bad news from the treatment room, as Noah Okafor sustained a muscular injury and will be out until 2025.
It has been a campaign ravaged by injuries for the Rossoneri, who are struggling to gain any kind of consistency.
The wide forward came on as a substitute in the 0-0 draw with Genoa at San Siro on Sunday.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Okafor has now been diagnosed with a Grade I lesion to the soleus muscle in his right leg.
This is effectively a calf strain and his condition will be re-evaluated in 10 days’ time, meaning the Switzerland international will not be fit to play again in 2024.
Okafor adds to Milan injury woes
Milan are set to play Hellas Verona at the Stadio Bentegodi on Friday in Serie A, but are already missing Yunus Musah, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Jovic, Ismael Bennacer and Alessandro Florenzi.
Okafor has made 16 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri this season, contributing one goal and two assists.
