Reports in Italy claim that Alvaro Morata shaved his head for a Serie A match against Lecce to show support for children with cancer.

The Spain international shaved his head for a Serie A match against Lecce at San Siro on Friday and opened the account against the Giallorossi in the first half.

According to Sport Mediaset, Morata often visits young cancer patients in hospitals.

Furthermore, after Spain won the Euros last summer, Morata shared the stage in Madrid with Maria, a 10-year-old fan who suffers from Ewing sarcoma.

Morata had already shaved his head in 2014, when he was playing for Real Madrid, always to show support for cancer patients.

Morata, 31, joined Milan for €13m last summer, signing a four-year contract.

He has two goals in five appearances across all competitions this season.
