Serie A giants Milan are now quite confident about sealing a move for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford this month.

The Englishman’s entourage held a meeting with the Rossoneri two days ago and it seems like things are going in the right direction.

Daniele Longo has reported that Rashford’s brother-agent Dwaine Maynard has given Milan a wide opening for the move. The forward is convinced by the Rossoneri and he is quite happy to operate in the project offered by club advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Milan are happy to cover half of Rashford’s salary of €7m between now and end of the season and the club are also positive that even the player will give up on a part of the wage. An agreement with United is yet to be reached but that is the next step.

The Diavolo have, so far, been informed by Maynard that those around Rashford will listen to about six or seven more clubs before making a final decision and there has been direct contact with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.

The 27-year-old is willing to wait for a week to make the decision but Milan are confident about the move, with Noah Okafor heading to RB Leipzig and opening up a space in the side.
