Mikhail Yegorov Joins Boston University For Second Half

Former Omaha Lancers goalie Mikhail Yegorov has joined Boston University for the second half of the season, it was reported earlier this week.

Yegorov, a 2024 second round pick of the New Jersey Devils, spent the first half of 2024-25 with the Lancers, collecting a record of 3-12-3 to go along with a 3.12 GAA and a .912 SP across 19 appearances.

Coming over to North America in 2023, Yegorov spent his draft year with the Lancers as well, accumulating a record of 8-25-3, a GAA of 3.86 and a .892 SP. Although his numbers may not jump off the page, Yegorov was a key cog for the Lancers last year, facing a high number of shots on a nightly basis.

As Yegorov gets sets to join the Terriers, he could have the chance to seize a big role early on. With his size and compete, Yegorov regularly shuts down high danger chances and will be an important piece of the puzzle as the Terriers look to challenge for a national championship.
