When it was announced in April that Jake Paul would be stepping into a ring with Mike Tyson for a sanctioned, professional fight, some boxing fans questioned Paul's ability to go toe-to-toe with the former heavyweight champ. But oddsmakers didn't.

Thirty-one years Tyson's junior, Paul opened as a small -145 favorite at BetMGM.

In the months since Tyson, 58, had a medical issue that forced the fight to be rescheduled from July 20 to Nov. 15, Paul has only become a bigger favorite. At BetMGM, his odds now sit at -200 to win. Tyson is +200, and the odds for a draw are +900.

The longer odds only make it more likely bettors hammer Tyson to win. Back in May, 80% of tickets and 70% of money on the fight had Tyson winning.

It's hard to imagine an almost 60-year-old man hanging around with a 27-year-old, but if there was one fighter to avoid betting against in that scenario, it'd be Tyson. And as an underdog, Tyson doesn't have the pressure of having to live up to his name. He can just fight. Tyson fighting as freely as possible is terrifying to think about.
