Midfielder Molumby signs new West Brom contract

West Bromwwich Albion midfielder Jayson Molumby has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with the Championship club.

Moumby, 25, has been with the Baggies since the summer of 2021. He was signed on a season-long loan from Brighton and then on a permanent deal the following year.

The Republic of Ireland international has made 120 league appearances for Albion, with 22 of them coming this season. His contract was due to expire this summer.

"I'm delighted to be extending my contract," he told the club website.

"I've been pleased with my performances this season, but everyone knows I want to get even better, and I believe I'm on the right track to doing that here at Albion."
