Yahoo Sports New McDavid Wedding Photos Revealed by Vogue
EDMONTON -- The time is now.
Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid married his longtime partner Lauren Kyle on July 27th. There were barely any photos posted during the weekend. The pictures that made their way to social media were of some attendants, none of the bride and groom.
That has all changed.
Earlier this morning Lauren shared a few new photos on her Instagram stories. A few were of her and Connor, with another of her with her wedding bouquet.

Vogue Australia published the photos. According to the article they published, Lauren wore five different dresses over the course of the day. Connor also had at least one wardrobe change. He sported a custom black tuxedo from Cloakroom as well as a Brunello Cucinelli green linen suit.
The wedding took place at Old Woman Island on Lake Muskoka. It was highly anticipated by both fans and teammates. A few of the photos clearly show both Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane.
It took 17 days for Vogue to prep the article and the photos. Judging from the shots they took, it was well worth the wait.
Their first dance took place at their cottage in Muskoka. The Ben Howard song Only Love served as the song for their first dance. Fittingly enough, Connor played this song on guitar while he proposed to her over a year ago.
