Kylian Mbappé, who joined Real Madrid this summer on a free transfer, has now pointed his guns back at his former employer.

Despite playing for PSG for no less than seven years, Mbappe’s relationship with the French outfit deteriorated significantly during his final season in Paris.

It has been reported in the recent past that Mbappe is in dispute with PSG and Qatar Sports Investments over several unpaid sums, including the final third of a signing bonus (€36 million), wages for the last three months of his contract, and an “ethics bonus.”

Having sent a formal notice to PSG in mid-June without receiving a response, Mbappeescalated the matter by contacting the French Football League’s legal committee and the UEFA.

Now, according to a recent report from L’Equipe, Mbappe is all set to meet the said legal committee on September 11.

The upcoming hearing will be crucial in determining whether Mbappe receives the €55 million he claims is owed.

The hearing may also further complicate the relationship between Mbappe and his former employers.

The breakdown in relations between Mbappe and PSG became increasingly evident last season, with disagreements over his contract renewal and the club’s direction, which ultimately culminated in his departure on a free transfer to Real Madrid.

As the situation unfolds, Real Madrid supporters will be watching closely, hoping their new star can quickly put the dispute behind him and focus on his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.
