Max Hildebrand & Jake Sloan Announces NCAA Commitment

Prince Albert Raiders goaltender Max Hildebrand and Tri-City Americans captain Jake Sloan are the latest players to announce their NCAA plans for next season. Hildebrand will be headed to Bemidji State University, while Sloan is bound for Bowling Green State University. Sloan is the third WHLer heading to Bowling Green, joining Tanner Scott and Brayden Crampton.

Now in his fourth WHL season, Hildebrand has a 42-43-7 record through 103 career games. He was also named the Prince Albert Raiders' Most Valuable Player for the 2023-24 season. The 2004-born goaltender is 6-6-2 so far this season with a 3.79 GAA and a Save Percentage of .893.

As for Sloan, he is currently in his fifth season with the Americans. The 20-year-old forward has played 220 games with Tri-City and was named captain for the 2024-25 season. So far this year, Sloan has seven goals and 22 points in 17 games.
