The Dallas Mavericks will be without their two best scorers when the team takes on the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis will not play in the contest due to injuries, the team announced before the game.

Porzingis' issue was known. He missed the team's game Friday due to a knee injury. Porzingis will need at least one more game before he's able to return.

Doncic will miss Saturday's game with left ankle soreness. He was able to play in Friday's contest, a 107-91 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Doncic scored 21 points in the loss.

Willie Cauley-Stein will also miss the game due to personal reasons.

The Mavericks will miss Doncic and Porzingis immensely. Doncic is the team's leading scorer, averaging 25.4 points per game. Porzingis is the team's second-leading scorer, with 19.7 points per contest.

The Grizzlies won't be at full strength either. The team will be without its leading scorer Ja Morant, who is dealing with a knee injury.

The Mavericks are 11-10 on the season, and currently sit in fifth place in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies have been slightly better, sitting in fourth in the West with a 12-10 record.

It's unclear whether Doncic will miss additional games due to the injury.
