Mavericks’ Reggie Bullock posts first look at five-acre private island he owns in Belize

In case the Dallas Mavericks don't make the playoffs, Reggie Bullock already has a place he can relax in the offseason.

While the NBA chant around teams that miss the postseason is "1,2,3, Cancun," Bullock, a reserve forward, will be headed a bit south of the popular Mexican resort town.

Bullock said on social media that he now owns an island in Placencia, Belize, and this is the description on the island's Instagram page:

"THE immersive island adventure. Where luxury meets nature, dreams become reality, designing each moment to create life long memories. Meet us in the sand where the Sun kisses the ocean, the moon dances with stars, and the coconuts fall from the trees✨ Only on BULLOCK ISLAND."

"I’ve been looking for different things to invest my money in," Bullock said to Andscape last year. "I found an opportunity down in Belize where I purchased an island that was about 5 acres that I am going to put resort villas on. It’s a vacation spot for me and my family where other people will be able to attend and enjoy different vacation activities."

The 32-year-old Bullock is a 10-year NBA vet and is averaging 7.2 points and 3.7 rebounds this season for Dallas, which is in danger of missing the playoffs and sits in 11th place in the Western Conference with two games remaining.
