📸 Maupay throws shade at performance of former club Everton 😳

Frenchman Neal Maupay isn't exactly shy when it comes to social media.

Famously outspoken with his views, the 28-year-old has now targeted former club Everton with one of his jibes.

The attacking midfielder joined Marseille on loan in the summer of 2024 after scoring just one goal over two seasons with the Toffees.

But on Sunday, he took the time to laugh at Everton's misfortune after their 2-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.

His X account posted: "Whenever I’m having a bad day I just check the Everton score and smile."

Meanwhile, Maupay has scored two goals and provided four assists in eight Ligue 1 starts at new club Marseille.
