Matthew Tkachuk will be sharp dressed man at 4 Nations thanks to Perry Ellis

Don’t look now but Florida Panthers star forward Matthew Tkachuk may be entering a new realm of recognition: fashion.

On Thursday, the NHL and NHLPA announced a joint partnership for next month’s 4 Nations Face-Off with global fashion and lifeyle brand Perry Ellis International.

According to a release from the NHL, “This partnership will introduce the elevated, versatile style philosophy of Perry Ellis to the passionate NHL community and further deepens the brand’s growing presence within the intersection of sports and fashion.”

But where does Tkachuk ‘fit’ into this new collaboration?

According to the NHL, Tkachuk will serve as “Perry Ellis’ Off-ice Ambassador” during the 4 Nations Face-Off and beyond.

That means you’ll see Tkachuk featured in all kinds of Perry Ellis content, including pictures and videos, throughout the season

The first of these videos can be seen below, via the NHL:

During 4 Nations, Perry Ellis will be providing special, tailored designs for Team USA to wear.

“With a modern twist on timeless American style, the brand will elevate each USA players’ personal style,” the release stated.
