This comes just one day after the Rangers sent him down to the American Hockey League due to the addition of Arthur Kaliyev.
Rempe still has one game left to serve on his eight-game suspension that he received for his hit on Miro Heiskanen.
The 22-year-old has been sent up and down from the AHL numerous times this season as he’s only played in five games for the Rangers.
Rempe has played 18 games in Hartford, recording three goals, two assists and five points.
