Mats Zuccarello, Jonas Brodin Back Practicing For The Wild

ST. PAUL - Forward Mats Zuccarello and defenseman Jonas Brodin were both on the ice for the Minnesota Wild on Thursday.

The Wild held a morning skate on Thursday ahead of their game against the Edmonton Oilers. Some positive news for the Wild though.

Brodin, 31, has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury for the Wild. He was on the ice for Thursday's morning skate and participated in drills. He did line rushes with Cameron Crotty, who is a scratch.

Zuccarello, 37, has missed the last 12 games with a lower-body injury and was doing off-ice movements before his first skate.

Wild head coach John Hynes said after skate on Thursday that there is no timetable for either of the two but it still is a positive sign that the two skated with the team and not on their own.

Joel Eriksson Ek, who has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, has not skated. There is no update on Eriksson Ek's status. He is on the Injured Reserve (IR).
