Mats Zuccarello Breaks Wild Franchise Record

Mats Zuccarello is off to a great start this year for the Wild and so is the team. The Wild are 4-0-2 to start the season.

The team’s 10 total points this season is tied for the fourth-highest mark through six games in franchise history and most since the 2021-22 season.

They also have yet to trail in a game this season for a span of 360 minutes.

The Wild's streak trails only the 1969-70 Bruins (457:21, seven games) for the longest in NHL history in both games and total minutes.

On Tuesday night Zuccarello broke a Wild franchise record against the Florida Panthers. He became the ninth player in Wild history to reach 200 assists with the franchise but was the fastest player to get to 200 assists.

It took Zuccarello 330 games with the Wild. Mikko Koivu had 200 assists in 400 games with the Wild which was the previous record.
