Matias Soulé is OK after hurting ankle in final minutes of Roma-Venezia
Roma had been given a serious injury scare when during the most recent outing of the season with Venezia, Matias Soulé went down with an injured ankle.
The fear was that the Argentine attacker may have sprained it as he asked to be replaced a few minutes before the final whistle.
However, Il Tempo states that Soulé is OK: the player only suffered a minor bruise after sliding during Pisilli’s goal celebrations.
The ex-Frosinone man is thus expected to be regularly at Ivan Juric’s disposal for this week’s Europa League fixture with Elfsborg.
