Matias Maccelli Talks About Utah HC's Power Play, Expectations For Tonight vs. Vegas
Andre Tourigny is always excited when it's game day.
He also recognizes during pre-season, it's about fine-tuning the game plan, especially on the power play.
And despite being a total of 3-for-8 on the man advantage through two pre-season games, Tourigny said Friday after morning skate at the Olympic Oval that his team can be even better.
He added though Utah hasn't faced a true NHL penalty kill yet, he is pleased with the decision-making and fast puck movement.
After all, it was the quick shot by forward Matias Maccelli that led to the second power-play goal Monday against Los Angeles.

"We've played with each other for a while now," Maccelli said. "Penalty killers on the other team, they don't know what to expect. It's easier to pick them apart."
It's exactly what Utah did on both power play units through the first two games, with the addition of Mikhail Sergachev in the off-season clearly making a difference through the veteran's decision-making and shooting ability.
Forward Kevin Stenlund, who acts as the second defenceman on the second power play unit, helped to set up Lawson Crouse's opening goal Monday night, is also someone Maccelli said he's "excited to watch when the real games start".
And while tonight's game against Vegas may not be a real one yet, Maccelli added his expectation is to "work on (his) own game" -- and he said a trip to Park City could be in the works, too, on his next day off.
