It is advantage Celtic FC Women in the first leg of the UEFA Women’s Champions League as the Ghirls ran out 1-0 winners over Vorskla Poltava on Sunday afternoon.
With a big week on the horizon and a place in the group stages of the competition up for grabs, the Ghirls took on the Ukrainian champions in the first leg this weekend.
And an early strike from Murphy Agnew was enough to separate the two sides, with Celtic taking the lead at half time in the tie.
