It may not seem like a big deal that MarShawn Lloyd is back from injury after the third-rounder in the 2024 NFL Draft out of USC played one game and had a total of 15 yards.

But it is in fantasy football, and I'll explain why.

First off, the Green Bay Packers have one of the best strength of schedules remaining for running backs in the NFL. And yes, while that means good things for Josh Jacobs, I wonder if the Packers are going to try to lighten the veteran's load after the bye so that he could be fresher for the playoffs. Emanuel Wilson has gotten some work behind Jacobs as of late.

Jacobs heaped praise on Lloyd lately, which should also tell you something. And if Jacobs gets injured? Well, Lloyd might end up with a lot more workload than if Jacobs was on the field. It's that time of year to stash guys like that.

There you go.
