According to Fabrizio Romano, Olympique de Marseille are working with Arsenal to agree on a fee for Eddie Nketiah (25). Les Phocéens are resolute in their efforts to bring the England international to the Stade Vélodrome this summer.

Under the stewardship of Roberto De Zeri, Marseille are undertaking an ambitious transfer strategy ahead of the start of the Ligue 1 season. The Italian boss is targeting Premier League experience with the signings of Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emile Højberg already completed. Nketiah would be the third signing of the window for OM from the English top flight.

The Ligue 1 club have already agreed personal terms with the Arsenal striker but are yet to find an agreement. La Provence reports that the Premier League club are unwilling to let their academy product leave without receiving a substantial fee.  Romano understands that negotiations are ongoing but no agreement between the two clubs is yet close.
