Marseille predicted XI vs Strasbourg: Neal Maupay and Mason Greenwood set to start

Marseille will look to further strengthen their credentials as PSG’s most threatening opponents as the second-placed Phocéens host in-form RC Strasbourg Alsace this Sunday at the Vélodrome. Roberto De Zerbi’s side suffered a cruel Coupe de France home exit on penalties on Tuesday against Lille OSC.

L’Equipe understands that the Italian manager will rely on his trusted attacking trio composed of Luis Henrique, Mason Greenwood and Neal Maupay. West Ham United and Eintracht Frankfurt target Elye Wahi misses out as he nurses an injury. Geoffrey Kondogbia and Valentin Rongier are not part of the matchday squad either. Rongier’s absence should mean that Marseille prospect Bilal Nadir will start alongside experienced midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.

Derek Cornelius, Leonardo Balerdi and Amir Murillo are set to start at the back. Although former Al-Ittihad centre-back Luiz Felipe could make his debut with Marseille.
