Yahoo Sports Marseille approach Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah
According to Foot Mercato, Olympique de Marseille have approached Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah (25) over the possibility of joining the club as the French side look to bolster their attacking options over the summer.
Discussions have reportedly been initiated with Nketiah’s representatives which are thought to be positive at this stage, with the Englishman said to be interested in the possibility of joining the club.
Marseille have been active in the transfer market this summer as they look to move swiftly on from last year’s disappointing campaign that saw the club record their worst league finish since the 2015/16 season and miss out on a spot in next season’s European competitions.
The arrival of Roberto De Zerbi has signalled the arrival of two new faces at the club with Lilian Brassier (24) and Ismaël Koné (22) joining the project, while an agreement has also been reached with Mason Greenwood according to The Athletic.
