Marcus Rashford responds to ‘ridiculous’ Man Utd transfer rumour
Marcus Rashford has slammed a “ridiculous” transfer rumour as speculation swirls over his future at Manchester United.
The forward admitted last month that he was “ready for a new challenge and the next steps” of his career after being dropped by new manager Ruben Amorim.
Rashford had reportedly held talks with sports agency Stellar to pursue an exit from Old Trafford in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
However, the 27-year-old took to social media to strongly deny these claims on Wednesday. He is currently represented by his brother, Dwayne Mainard.

“[There has] been a lot of false stories written over the past few weeks, but guys this is getting ridiculous – never met with any agency and don’t have any plans to,” Rashford posted on Instagram.
The 60-times capped England international was left out of the matchday squad for four consecutive games by Amorim. He was named on the bench for Monday’s 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle United, but didn’t play a minute.
