Marcelo Bielsa to miss Uruguay's crunch Copa América clash with USA

CONMEBOL have handed out yet another one-game suspension to a Copa América manager on Sunday.

Uruguay’s Marcelo Bielsa is the latest to be punished after his players were delayed in entering the pitch against Bolivia on Thursday.

The former Leeds boss will, therefore, miss the final group-stage game against the United States.

Uruguay sit top of Group C with six points from two games and the Americans are still looking to book their spot in the quarter-finals.

The USA must match or better Panama’s result on Monday if they want to stay alive in the tournament.

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni, Peru manager Ricardo Gareca, and Venezuela boss Fernando Batista were also fined and banned for the same incidents.
