Maple Leafs Odds Expected to Change After Rumors of Adding Former All-Star Forward

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday that they had re-signed restricted free agent Nick Robertson to a new one-year deal. It was followed up with more news by multiple sources that claimed former All-star forward Max Pacioretty is expected to signed with the Leafs as well.

The former Canadiens captain has been plagued my injuries over the past few seasons with only 139 games played over the past four seasons. During that span, the 35-year-old American recorded 50 goals and 64 assists for 114 points and an 0.82 point-per-game average.

Over a full season, his projections would have him finish somewhere around 65 points, which could make a big difference for the Maple Leafs and shouldn't cost them much.

Toronto is currently at +1400 to win the Stanley Cup with a boost on Bet365 having the team's odds up to +1600 on a special promotion. It could be a future bet worth looking at if Pacioretty comes back looking healthy and helps deliver decent point production.

Toronto's top three lines are all talented and present a great opportunity for Pacioretty to play with players around him that could help him rediscover his game.

All Toronto Bets like to win the Atlantic Division (+270 on DraftKings) and to record 110+ points as a team (-185 on Bet365) should be monitored until further notice pending Pacioretty's early performance.
