With Juventus strengthening in the midfield, through the signing of Khéphren Thuram from OGC Nice, and with talks over a renewal for Adrien Rabiot ongoing, there may be no space for Manuel Locatelli (26).

The Italy international could find himself on the periphery at the Serie A giants next season, a situation that he would like to avoid. As a result, he will be meeting with the club’s hierarchy, including new manager Thiago Motta, in order to attain clarity on his role at the club.

Should Locatelli fail to receive the assurance that he is part of Juventus’ plans, he would look to leave the club this summer and he wouldn’t be short of interested parties. As reported by Foot MercatoOlympique de Marseille are interested in the midfielder. There has been a rapprochement between the player and OM, now guided by one of his former managers, Roberto De Zerbi.

Locatelli would be keen on a move to Marseille this summer, however, there is yet to be any offer or any advancement on the deal. All will hinge on the Italian’s meeting with Juventus’ hierarchy.
