Luis Enrique named a 21-player squad that didn’t include Ugarte to face Le Havre on Friday, with new signing Joao Gomes pushing to Uruguay international down the pecking order in Paris.

It has been widely reported that Ugarte has his heart set on joining United this summer, with links dating back to the beginning of the transfer window.

Meanwhile, HITC claims Ugarte’s representatives are confident a deal will materialise, which is great news as far as United will be concerned.

Jorge Mendes is said to be working on the deal attempting to find an agreement that satisfies all parties at the negotiation table.

PSG manager Enrique has played his hand by leaving Ugarte out of his team this weekend. He has already shown his hand following the arrival of Joao Neves from Benfica.
