Manchester United, Man City, Chelsea and Newcastle to rival PSG for the signing of Lucas Chevalier

Major Premier League clubs the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle United are reportedly set to rival PSG for the signing of Lille OSC goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier (23), according to Sports Zone. Chevalier is arguably the best French goalkeeper in Ligue 1. He made his Champions League debut with Bruno Genesio’s Les Dogues and also broke into Didier Deschamps’ France set-up for the first time, although Chevalier is yet to make his debut for Les Bleus. The outlet understands that PSG will look to sign the Lille OSC Academy graduate as a replacement for Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Chevalier’s profile as a young but very experienced elite goalkeeper was always going to attract interest from major European clubs. Sports Zone adds that the Ligue 1 champions will face serious competition from a handful of Premier League clubs. Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle are said to rival PSG to the signing of Chevalier. Should he replace André Onana at Old Trafford, Chevalier would reunite with fellow Lille OSC Academy graduate Leny Yoro.
