Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka (26) is expected to join Premier League rivals West Ham United, according to a report this Sunday from Foot Mercato. The 26-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford. Manchester United were also in need to raise funds to secure the signing of Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui (26). The Morocco international would reportedly join the Red Devils after the Bundesliga giants sanctioned a €25m sale.

Mazraoui was initially a target for West Ham United. The Hammers even found an agreement with Bayern Munich and the Morocco international also agreed in principle to join the London-based club. But the former AFC Ajax right-back reconsidered his options after it transpired that Juventus and Manchester United were interested in his signing. With Mazraoui out of their sights and heading to Old Trafford, West Ham opted to pursue a move for Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Foot Mercato reports that West Ham have reportedly matched United’s demands for parting ways with Wan-Bissaka with an undisclosed agreement being reached. The outlet adds that the Hammers’ proposed wage should convince the England international to join Julen Lopetegui’s Hammers.
