McAtee will hope his hat-trick heroics are enough to convince Pep Guardiola he deserves more minutes. The 22-year-old has failed to start a league game this season but has impressed in cameos off the bench.
City’s big names, including Erling Haaland, will return after rest at the weekend. None of the club’s injured players, Rodri (ACL), Ruben Dias (calf), Oscar Bobb (leg) or John Stones (foot) are fit to return. However, Bobb and Dias have both stepped up their recoveries in training.
Kyle Walker is unlikely to feature after expressing interest in leaving the club this month.
