Spurs come from behind twice to snatch a late point in a 3-3 draw against City. The visitors took the lead six minutes in with their first shot as Son finished off a counter-attack, but the Spurs captain then scored an own goal three minutes later to level things up. Foden gave City the lead for the first time just after the half-hour mark, finishing off a flowing team move. Doku and Alvarez also struck the woodwork. Lo Celso got his side back into it, curling in a delightful shot that Ederson couldn't keep out. Grealish tapped City in front once more, but Spurs weren't finished as Kulusevski looped in a headed equaliser in the 90th minute. Tempers flared late on as City were denied the advantage when Grealish was in on goal, but in the end, neither team could find a winner. For the first time since Guardiola's first season in charge, City draw three games in a row in the Premier League and it leaves them third in the table. They travel to Villa on Wednesday. Spurs' losing run comes to an end, but they stay fifth. They host West Ham on Thursday. That's all for today, goodbye!

It's a lovely floated cross into the far post by Rodri and Akanji goes down in the box under pressure from Skipp. The midfielder had his arm over his shoulder, but there was nothing in it. No penalty is given, which only frustrates City further.

The referee pulls the game back for a foul on Haaland, not realising that he could've played the advantage with Grealish on the ball. City players surround him, and they're screaming their protests at him, not that it'll change anything now.

Spurs are still trying to push for a late equaliser, but they just can't keep hold of the ball at the moment. As soon as they cross into City's half, they get sloppy, and Rodri comes away with it this time.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

18:15

Spurs get it moving quickly from the restart, and they still have the belief they can get something from this game. They're pushing bodies forward, but can't get it into the box at the moment.

Lo Celso has scored in back-to-back Premier League games, this after only scoring in one of his first 58 appearances in the competition beforehand. Two of his three goals in the competition have come against City (also November 2020).

18:07

WIDE! It's better from City here as they start to move it with pace once more. Lewis darts in behind, taking it to the byline before pulling it back for Rodri. He hits the shot first time, but it swerves just wide of the top corner.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

18:05

Porro gets too tight to Grealish, taking his legs out from behind. He's the second Spurs player into the book.

Spurs have actually seen more of the ball in the second half, having 61 per cent of the possession so far, but they can't seem to do anything with it. Bissouma does manage to win a corner, but Lo Celso curls it straight into Ederson's gloves.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:56

There's another nervy moment at the back for Spurs as Bissouma touches it back to Vicario, with Silva hovering in the box. The keeper hurries his clearance, but luckily, Davies manages to slice it to safety.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:54

SAVE! Spurs switch it out to Lo Celso on the left, who instantly slides it forward for Udogie to chase. He cuts inside before trying to poke it to Son, who has an empty net to aim for. Ederson smothers it just as the offside flag goes up.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:52

Yellow Card Jack Peter Grealish

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:50

There were just 137 seconds between Son putting Spurs 1-0 up and then scoring an own goal in the first half. He's only the second player in Premier League history to score a goal and an own goal in the opening 10 minutes of a game, after Gareth Barry for Aston Villa v Charlton in May 1999.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:48

Udogie is making good progress down the left when he's penalised for a foul on Foden. The Spurs players aren't happy that it's gone against them and the referee has to get involved to calm some tempers.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:47

Another sloppy pass in midfield sets Grealish away down the left and he clips a pacy cross into the far post. It's just behind Haaland, who awkwardly stretches to reach it, but he can't direct it on target.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:45

SAVE! Johnson has switched out to the left since Gil went off, and he cuts inside to lose Walker before drilling a low shot on goal. It's comfortably saved by Ederson.

Hojbjerg can't get tight enough to Haaland, and City have another free-kick in a good position through the middle. Alvarez clips it into the box, but it's comfortably cleared by Davies.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:39

Spurs really need to cut out these mistakes, especially so close to their own goal. Hojbjerg gives the ball away to Silva, but luckily for the midfielder, three defenders get in the way of the strike.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:38

GREAT SAVE! Just 18 seconds into the second half and Vicario has to tip it wide. Haaland cushions it into Alvarez, who hits the shot first time with the outside of his boot. It's swerving towards the far corner, but the keeper dives to deny him.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:30

It's a familiar story for Postecoglou as his side took the lead only to find themselves behind. They still have time to fix things here, but they're going to need a much-improved performance in all areas of the pitch. Guardiola will be pleased with how his side reacted, but they could have more goals given the number of chances they created - he'll want to see them be much more clinical after the break.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:25

City come from behind to take a 2-1 lead over Spurs into half-time. The visitors couldn't have made a better start, with Son scoring with their first shot of the game following a quick counter-attack. He got the better of Doku before firing through Ederson. Things quickly flipped on their head for the Spurs captain though, as his own goal just three minutes later pulled City level. Doku then fired a powerful shot that bounced off the bar and post before being cleared. Foden put them in front by finishing off a fine team move before Alvarez also struck the foot of the post.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:20

HALF-TIME: MANCHESTER CITY 2-1 TOTTENHAM.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:18

Into the first of three added minutes here and Spurs are enjoying a spell of possession in their own half. Vicario eventually decides to go long, but Johnson can't keep hold of it under pressure from Dias.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:16

All of City's attacks are coming down the left at the moment as Doku cuts inside once more. He drills another low cross into the box just as the offside flag goes up against him.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:14

Porro drops off as Doku pushes forward once more, but he hits this cross against Emerson's shins. Rodri follows in to keep it alive, only to trip over the ball on the edge of the box.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:12

It's poor defending from Spurs, who are choosing to sit back instead of closing down City's attacking players. They give Doku too much room to pick out another cross, but luckily, Foden can't pick out a team-mate when he recycles it.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:09

Udogie gets nowhere near the ball as he clips the back of Foden's heels to take him out. He goes into the referee's book.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:08

MISS! Haaland misses another great chance! Silva trips in the box, but he still manages to stretch past Davies to tee up Haaland. He rushes the shot knowing that Davies is sliding in, and he blazes it high over the bar into the stands.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

17:07

OFF THE POST! Spurs are caught in possession again, and Akanji slides it forward for Alvarez. After seeing no support, he chooses to go it alone, and his skidding low shot skims the far post.

Yellow Card Rodrigo Hernández Cascante

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

OFF THE BAR! Doku has been a bright spark for City since the first whistle and he makes another bursting run down the left. When he's lost Porro, he cuts inside, firing a powerful shot over Vicario that rattles the underside of the bar.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:59

City get caught playing out from the back once more as Silva plays a loose pass into Dias. Gil pounces on it, and Spurs get a corner from it as Silva holds his hand up in apology.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:57

Son's goal was his 50th on the road in the Premier League. He's only the second Spurs player to score 50+ away goals in the competition for the club after Harry Kane (scored 112).

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:55

CHANCE! Lo Celso sweeps it out to Johnson on the right, and he bursts past Gvardiol to get into the bench before drilling in a low cross. He's looking for Son in the middle, but Dias slides in to deflect it just wide of the near post.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:53

Porro's cross is headed into the ground by Haaland, and that allows Gil to keep it alive. He touches it onto Johnson, who quickly wins another Spurs corner, but this one is cleared by Akanji.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:51

After soaking up another spell of City pressure, Spurs are patiently trying to play out from the back. Up against the hosts' high press, they're struggling though, and they can't get over the halfway line.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:49

BLOCK! Spurs just can't clear their lines at the moment, and Lo Celso gets caught on the ball on the edge of the D. Silva doesn't have space to shoot so dinks it into Haaland, and his shot is blocked by Bissouma.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:47

Gvardiol gets in on the action by carrying the ball a long way down the left before curling in his cross. Haaland is a little sloppy with his first touch so he can't get a shot away, but he does manage to keep the attack alive.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:45

WHAT A MISS! Son are caught in possession deep in their own half, and Silva quickly squares it into Haaland, who is unmarked in the middle. He takes on the shot first time, dragging it just wide of the far post to everybody's disbelief.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:45

SAVE! Spurs are all over the place at the back as City just up the pace once more. Foden cuts inside from the right before taking aim, and Emerson swings out a leg to block it. It bounces to Silva, and Vicario smothers his shot from a tight angle.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:43

It's been a rollercoaster of a game for Son already, and there's only 11 minutes on the clock. He's bearing down on Ederson, trying to rush the keeper into making a mistake, but again the Brazilian coolly clears his lines.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:41

City don't want to be behind for long and they quickly work it upfield before Silva wins a free-kick on the right after he's clipped by Lo Celso.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:36

Ederson comes out of his box to help City start playing it out from the back, but he's quickly chased down by Son. The keeper clears his lines in time, and the hosts do well to pass their way through the high press.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:34

City are enjoying all of the early possession here, and Doku manages to find space down the left to drive into. He's looking to pull it back to Alvarez, but Porro's interception takes it out for a corner.

Ange Postecoglou makes just one change from their loss to Aston Villa last weekend, and it's an enforced one. Bentancur picked up an ankle injury in that game, so he's out, but Bissouma is back from suspension to replace him. They're still without a recognised centre-back, as Emerson and Davies are paired up again.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:24

Guardiola makes three changes to the side that came back to win against Leipzig on Tuesday. Ederson is back in goal, with Doku and Alvarez coming in to join the front line. Ortega, Lewis and Grealish drop to the bench, where Stones and Kovacic are also named after recovering from injury.

Spurs were flying high after 10 matchdays, sitting top of the table after a stellar unbeaten start to the season. Since then, they've lost three on the bounce, taking the lead in all of those matches only to come away with no points. It's a run that's seen them drop to sixth in the table, but a win here would move them level on points with today's opponents. Spurs have the best winning record against Guardiola's City, winning six of their meetings, however, only one of those victories has come at the Etihad - a 3-2 win in February 2022.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

16:07

City have the chance to close the gap at the top of the league back to one point with a win here after Arsenal's victory over Wolves yesterday. The Citizens are unbeaten in eight matches in all competitions (W6 D2), but have drawn their last two Premier League games, dropping leads against both Chelsea and Liverpool, with the latter bringing an end to their 23-game winning run at the Etihad. They come into today on the back of a win though, coming from 2-0 down to beat RB Leipzig 3-2 and claim top spot in their Champions League group.
