Manchester City vs Club Brugge – Predicted lineup and team news
Manchester City face Club Brugge in a must-win Champions League showdown at the Etihad this evening.
Pep Guardiola’s side are at risk of an early elimination in Europe and must win to secure their place in the playoffs. City have won just twice in seven Champions League games this season and blew a two-goal lead to lose at Paris Saint-Germain last week.
City have reached at least the quarter-finals in each of the last seven seasons but face the prospect of a group-stage exit for the first time since 2012/13.

The Premier League champions responded to that PSG loss with a professional performance at the weekend. Despite falling behind to Noni Madueke’s early goal, City controlled proceedings to secure a 3-1 win over Chelsea.
Club Brugge arrive unbeaten in 20 games across all competitions. The Belgian side held Juventus to a goalless draw last time out and have beaten Aston Villa and Sporting Lisbon in Europe this season. A point will be enough to secure Brugge a place in the playoffs.
