Man United could sensationally beat West Ham to the signing of Noussair Mazraoui after transfer talks with Bayern Munich collapsed.

The Hammers had looked dead set on bringing the Moroccan international to the London Stadium this week, having agreed a deal with the German outfit.

The two clubs had reportedly settled on a transfer fee, with reports suggesting it could reach up to €20 million with add-ons, while Mazraoui agreed on personal terms ahead of the move.

However, in an incredible turn of events, West Ham have now ‘left the negotiations’, according to Sky Sport Deutschland reporter Florian Plettenberg.

It’s claimed that this is due to the fact that ‘no agreement on the agent’s side has been reached’, causing talks to disintegrate.

Man Utd are looking to take advantage of the situation, swooping in to try and get a deal done with Bayern. Talks are already said to be at an ‘advanced’ stage.

The move could hinge on the Red Devils finding a new club for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has been linked with West Ham. The club reportedly want to sell the Croydon native before signing a new right-back.

Mazraoui has been a semi-regular presence in the Bayern first-team, starting 15 Bundesliga games last season. He signed for the club on a four-year deal from Ajax in 2022, making 55 appearances in all competitions over the past two seasons.
