🚨 Man Utd 'to bring in' ex-Chelsea transfer guru to help with summer buys
Manchester United are working to appoint former Chelsea and RB Leipzig technical director Christopher Vivell on an initial short-term basis, reports David Ornstein of The Athletic.
It's thought that his appointment will assist with player recruitment in the summer window, and coincides with the announcement earlier today that the club have reached an agreement with Newcastle over new Sporting Director Dan Ashworth.
Vivell was placed on gardening leave by Chelsea after an internal reshuffle at the club back in July 2023.
The 37-year-old is expected to be working on talent identification, recruitment and the multi-club model, the report suggests.
