Napoli are hoping to sign Garnacho as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who joined Paris Saint-Germain over the weekend. Antonio Conte has identified the Argentine as his preferred choice on the January transfer market, while Premier League side Chelsea are also said to be interested.
Garnacho’s agent was spotted at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Monday night.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, representatives from United will meet with their Napoli counterparts in Italy on Tuesday to discuss the deal further.
While in Italy, United will also look to secure a deal with Lecce for versatile wideman Patrick Dorgu.
It is understood that Lecce did not originally want to part ways with the recent Denmark international in January, but could be convinced with an offer of 40m, or 35m with additional bonuses.
