Man City icon ADMITS these two Liverpool stars are 'best of modern times'
Sergio Aguero recently showered praise on Luis Diaz as he revealed his favourite winger combination in the Premier League.
The former Manchester City star, who retired in 2021 due to health concerns, understands exactly what strikers need from wide players. When asked to pick the best current duo in the Premier League.

Aguero praises Diaz and Salah
Aguero also expressed his admiration for Diaz and Mohamed Salah, both of whom have made impressive starts under new manager Arne Slot.
He acknowledged that while Diaz and Salah may have the upper hand right now, the young talents of Doku and Savinho, a summer signing from Troyes, have great potential.
“Diaz and Salah have more experience in the Premier League and more time playing together than Savinho and Doku, which makes comparisons difficult,” Aguero told Bolavip.com.
“But either duo could be considered the best of modern times. Salah and Diaz are a formidable scoring partnership, great at assisting, and very well-synced with their teammates. Doku and Savinho need time to develop, but their potential is sky-high.”
Speaking specifically about Diaz, who led Colombia to the Copa America final before losing to Argentina, Aguero, 36, said: “Luis Diaz has consistently proven his quality. I believe Colombia has grown as a team because of his experience in Europe.
"His presence elevated the entire squad. He's not the only one, though—[Daniel] Muñoz, now at Crystal Palace, has also made a significant impact. Players like these help create a more well-rounded national team.”
Diaz and Munoz were both involved as Colombia defeated Argentina 2-1 in the South American World Cup qualifying this week. Argentina, who were without Lionel Messi, saw their advantage over second-placed Colombia cut to two points.
