Man City to face stiff Premier League competition for Rovella
Manchester City have reportedly set sights on Nicolò Rovella of Lazio, but it looks like they will have to beat competition from more Premier League sides if they want to sign the player.
The Citizens were recently linked with a move for the Italy international as they consider him an ideal replacement for Rodri, whose knee injury is forcing him to a lengthy recovery.

However, they’re not the only European club to have put the Juventus loanee on their radar, as Arsenal and Liverpool are also said to be interested in the 23-year-old.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, which quoted a report from Il Messaggero, Liverpool seem to be the most interested club as they would be ready to step up their pursuit of Rovella by making an official bid to tempt him away from the Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito replied to transfer rumours concerning the midfielder, saying that he’s ‘not up for sale’, with the Bianconcelesti expected to demand at least €40m to open negotiations, more than twice they would have to pay Juventus to make his loan deal permanent.
