Four changes | Expected Man Utd line-up (3-4-2-1) vs FCSB
Manchester United take on FCSB in their final league game of the Europa League campaign tonight.
The Red Devils are fourth in the table with 15 points and need to finish in the top eight to directly qualify for the last-16 without a knockout round play-off.
The club are just two points ahead of ninth-placed Galatasaray. A victory would seal their top-eight berth, but a draw could also be enough if other results go their way.
United need to build momentum for the season run-in. Manager Ruben Amorim will be eyeing a third-straight win in all competitions for the first time since taking charge of the Red Devils.
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Predicted Line-up:
Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was rewarded with his maiden European start for United against Rangers. He had a solid outing and deserves to keep his place in tonight’s game in Bucharest ahead of Andre Onana.
Matthijs de Ligt has not completed 90 minutes in the last two games. The Dutchman could get a breather with Leny Yoro coming in to partner Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez.
Amad Diallo should start at right wing-back, with Diogo Dalot on the opposite flank. Noussair Mazraoui has not been at his best recently and could drop to the bench.
Kobbie Mainoo is likely to be reinstated in United’s central midfield alongside Manuel Ugarte. Captain Bruno Fernandes will start from his preferred number 10 position.
The Portuguese is expected to be accompanied by Alejandro Garnacho. Striker Rasmus Hojlund was poor at Fulham. Joshua Zirkzee could get another chance over him.
