Luigi Cherubini interested in joining Serie B team Modena in search of more playing time

Roma are evaluating an offer from Serie B for youngster Luigi Cherubini.

After renewing his contract until 2029, Roma could choose to send the former Primavera captain on loan.

Despite taking part in Daniele De Rossi’s preseason training camp, Cherubini is unlikely to remain with Roma’s first team next season.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, there is interest from Modena in the 20-year-old midfielder.

According to Di Marzio, the Serie B side are keen on bringing Cherubini on loan and giving him the opportunity to feature in their line-up next year.

For Roma, this would be an ideal scenario and an option the club are happy to evaluate.
